Oh now, Trump is not so bad
at least he would give private motels and restaurants the power to deny service to Escopeta
because the owner may not like his haircut, or that he is white, or his boots
because.....Gary Johnson's Libertarian Party believes private business can deny service to anyone, for any reason, any time
they would do away with the Civil Rights Act, go ahead read on their wiki page
"Libertarian" sounds good, doesn't it?
children and puppies like Liberty too, but then they aren't adults

So she is white then??
Norton, tell us how Trump isn't going to win because he isn't vetted and can't get to 270 electoral votes. Because watching you spew useless sh#t and be proven wrong never gets old.
EDIT: If anyone is interested in learning more about the Libertarian Party instead of listening to someone like Norton who has already shown he has no idea what he's talking about, I would suggest heading over the the Cato Institute and reading their Key Concepts of Libertarianism which is succinct and informative.

The splc is a complete joke. They couldn't even remember to list 9/11
911 was not a domestic terrorist act----unless you are stating that you know something else??

"Obama can appoint Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court if the Senate does nothing
This is a huge mistake, and a terrible strategy.
First, it has never been true in history.
Second, it makes it impossible to block any nomination. All that has to happen is for the non-President party to block any action, and the nomination would sail through. Think what that would mean: Robert Bork, Harriet Myers. Think what that would free Trump to do?
Third, this plays into the Trump narrative. He reached out to the great masses in America, "hard working, play-by-the-rules" folks. And here the democrats are, attempting to break the rules that have been used since our founding. If you think we lost big in the election, wait until the midterms!
This is a road that leads to destruction of the rule of law, and nothing good can come of it.

"Its become clear that many of those protesting the election results in cities around the nation, never participated in the vote.
I wonder how many of those protesting here are in that same group?"
Maybe you should report them to the FBI.
No wonder you never made it as a sheriff.

Ken, I'm going back and forth on the column, but I think it's precedent could be limited if the senate simply does its job and consider the nominee. Otherwise, they waive their ability to do so.

Damning opinion piece condemning stein voters and stay at homes for their "narcissism" in electing trump. He also throws cold water on the dnc conspiracy theories and sanders' ability to actually beat trump. This guy spent months reporting on trump's shenanigans, enduring death threats, and he's pissed.
On Friday, I almost assaulted a fan of my work. I was in the Philadelphia International Airport, and a man who recognized me from one of my appearances on a television news show approached. He thanked me for the investigative reporting I had done about Donald Trump before the election, expressed his outrage that the Republican nominee had won and then told me quite gruffly, “Get back to work.” Something about his arrogance struck me, so I asked, “Who did you vote for?”
He replied, “Well, Stein, but—” I interrupted him and said, “You’re lucky it’s illegal for me to punch you in the face.” Then, after telling him to have sex with himself—but with a much cruder term—I turned and walked away.
A certain kind of liberal makes me sick. These people traffic in false equivalencies, always pretending that both nominees are the same, justifying their apathy and not voting or preening about their narcissistic purity as they cast their ballot for a person they know cannot win. I have no problem with anyone who voted for Trump, because they wanted a Trump presidency. I have an enormous problem with anyone who voted for Trump or Stein or Johnson—or who didn’t vote at all—and who now expresses horror about the outcome of this election. If you don’t like the consequences of your own actions, shut the hell up.

Neither party should be blocking nominations. And I say that knowing our president elect will probably appoint a KKK grand wizard to fill the next vacancy

How would anybody know who voted and who did not vote? It is really creepy to say things like that about a personal thing like voting.
What is more interesting is that everybody here is calling names but nobody is talking about issues like healthcare. What is Trump going to do? He already said he's going to keep parts of Obamacare but has not said what parts he will not keep. I really think he's just making this all up as he goes.

In California, at least, election authorities keep track of who voted, because failure to vote in a general election requires the person to re-register to be eligible to vote. Of course, they don't know if a voter cast a vote for any specific office, or for whom (although my daughter allegedly wrote in a vote for her dog in one office, so I know from whom that vote came).
I have great difficulty with those insisting that a vote for a third party is a vote for (choose one) []Trump or [] Clinton. In this election, more than any other I remember since 1964, people campaigned to vote against a candidate. That's not how the ballot reads. We vote for candidates, not against them. Given that the Democrats and Republicans went to extremes this election, I see no reason why people should not express their disapproval at the ballot box. I'm reasonably sure I'm not the only one who found both candidates unacceptable.
The criticism, particularly of Stein voters, also seems ill-founded in affecting the result. In every state, Stein received far fewer votes than Johnson. If people who voted for Stein or Johnson instead cast their votes for Trump or Clinton, would the results have favored Clinton or Trump? if you answer that question with anything other than "I don't know," please tell me how you know.

Oh.. who to follow.. who to follow..
“The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy,” wrote Trump as part of a tweetstorm on election night 2012.
“We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!”
“Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.”
“This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!”
“Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble...like never before.”
“Our nation is a once great nation divided!”
All written by Trump..

Well I know the government knows who voted, that's not what I was talking about. Accusing someone of not voting or being mad at someone for their vote is lame and won't make things better.

No point Pyro.. he says whatever he wants at any time to fit however he feels at any given time depending on his audience. Who knows what he will actually do.
Hopefully as someone already said, the responsibility of the office will sober/mature him. And hopefully he isn't feeling pissy when he has to make a decision of how to deal with China, Russia or North Korea.

OMG. This is the first post I've seen Cragman make that he didn't try to belittle Obama by doing one of those nasty play on words with Obama's last name.
Is this an example of Cragman following the lead of our President?
