Port I watched it on the news and clearly remember the anger i felt when seeing people in my state cheering. why should I have to provide something that was shown on TV 14 years ago? this was in 2001 before all this social media crap. you can call Trump a liar all you want but do Not call me a liar. BTW after 911 i was volunteering with the salvation army, unloading supplies, serving food, water to workers doing what I could to help out. were you one of those yellow belly sissies that had to run away?
Liar.
The police in NJ (with a Repug Gov) say it did not happen.
So now the police are falsifying their records. (probably all 911 sympathizers?)
The TV stations have no record of such reports?
The reporters that worked at all the NJ stations say it never happened?
But everyone is missing the bigger picture: you can't throw a tailgate party together on the spur of the moment, it takes shopping and planning. SO THEY KNEW THE ATTACK WAS COMING!!!!!
THE SMOKING GUN!!!

It didn't happen. I actually have been searching for this video of Arabs celebrating 9/11. All I have found are hundreds of videos from multiple sources stating that it didn't happen.
I have seen the video however, of Trump on 9/13/01 where he makes no mention of any such thing.
Hundreds of fact checkers say this didn't occur. If it happens, and it's "widely covered" as he says, somebody would be able to provide this video.
So why does this this frontrunner now insist it happened? Because it plays into the narrative of his supporters believing all Muslims are evil.

Trump had this plaque put up on the shores of one of his golf courses commemorating a crossing where so many soldiers were killed during the civil war that the river turned red with their blood.
Not one soldier was ever recorded as ever having been killed there.

* TRUMP AMPLIFIES THREAT AGAINST GOP: With GOP Super PACs planning new campaigns to stop Trump, U.S. News and World Report notes that Trump and his senior adviser have been amplifying the suggested threat to run as a third party candidate if the GOP treats him “unfairly”:
Michael Cohen, a senior Trump adviser, told CNN that political action committees criticizing Trump are making a “bad, bad decision” if they are joining forces to stop the billionaire real-estate tycoon from winning the GOP nomination. “Donald Trump wants to be treated fairly,” Cohen said Tuesday. “He will demand that the GOP treat him fairly.”
Trump signed a pledge not to run an independent candidacy, provided the GOP treats him fairly. The beauty of this is that Trump decides what getting treated “fairly” means. If he decides that rival campaigns and Super PACs attacking him constitutes “unfair” treatment, well, tough!

* CONSERVATIVES FLOAT THE F-WORD ABOUT TRUMP: CNN reports that even some conservatives are beginning to suggest that Trump’s declared support for a Muslim registry crosses over into “fascism.” This, from influential Iowa radio host Steve Deace, is notable:
“If Obama proposed the same religion registry as Trump every conservative in the country would call it what it is — creeping fascism.”
Actually, conservatives have called Obama a lawless tyrant for all kinds of things that fall well short of a Muslim registry, but yes, that’s probably true.

Ken, I've heard those same third party threats. That would be the Party's worst nightmare, and even if he never goes trough with it (which he probably won't), he can use that threat to extract lots of concessions.

The more I hear Trump speak, the more his appeal starts to resemble that of a populist dictator. His policy is "Put me in charge and I will lead you to the promised land." He doesn't really say how, and shows little regard for limited representative government.
Unsurprisingly, that appeal resonates with those who most mistrust those in power. The disdain for "politicians," meaning those who actaully compromise in order to govern with the broad consent of the governed, represents the same phenomenon. Increasingly, on both the left and right, we seem to have so little regard for the intelligence and desires of those with which we disagree that we want simply to steamroll the opposition. Thus the popularity of candidates like Trump and Sanders.
In Bernie's defense, though, his is a campaign of ideas and policy. Trump's is solely one of personality. The implications for our republic of the latter should frighten those who value the true "traditional American values."
