Yeah like that's slowed me down before,I'm in, down and along side I think they might have i/2 price PBR pictures on Thursday.
Hey with predicted shitty weather for Saturday do guys want to wonder up to rainbow and try to find some ice? Or we could cowboy up and try a multi (easy))pitch climb in a blizzard at the Leap. The bad weather keeps the snakes down.

Any recommendations for guide books to the Reno area? Did John Jackson's book ever come out? Grandma officially moved to Reno this week, looking forward to climbing out there!

I'm still using Mike Carville Guide Book

http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Climbing-Lake-Tahoe-Carville/dp/157540088X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1290098702&sr=8-1

and for S. Lake Tahoe supertopo for sure. That's about it what is on printed format. You should pick some of old timers brains for some secrets spots. Can't wait for new guide book to come out, I hope it's lighter and smaller version of that 10 pounder I saw at Silver Peak.

What will the conditions be like for climbing on Saturday (11/27)? I'm not sure I'm ready for head-lamps in a blizzard, but I'd hate to let the cold keep me away from climbing. Out of the spots in Carville's guidebook, what's the most likely to have the least snow? River Rock, Pig Rock, Dinosaur Rock? I don't believe I've ever climbed at a temperatures lower than 60F, so any advice on how to dress for climbing in the cold would be appreciated.
