Well Roy, my 15 year old daughter's band is playing their first gig that Friday evening, and my wife has a smallish art opening. I suppose I could do some sort of hideous red eye flight, but I'm also unspeakably broke due to some underperforming construction projects and anticipate quarterly business taxes to soak up most of my remaining credit on April 30th.

On the otherhand, it is looking to be a pretty remarkable day.

Hey, it's been touch and go for me in the last 18 hrs:

I was cleaning up the Stonemasters contact list last night via spreadsheet and this kicked in my repetitive strain syndrome something fierce; I was ready this morning to bag this event and the Sushifest and just lay down for a week.

So far, the 13 hrs of depression sleep I underwent, along with copious DMSO rub downs, seems to have put me back in the saddle.

So: Bolton and I are updating the Stonemasters contact list.
We think my initial e-mailing may have gotten heavily spam cleaned and he'll fire it off again along with phone calls.

Bottom line, here's the current confirmed for Woodson on the 28th:

hey off, we've got one helluva tax refund coming. i'll go halvsies with ya on the ticket, my 'rents would love to put you up, of course they'll feed you (as they have been since 4th grade), etc. etc. etc.

roy's right. last april's stonemaster thing was once-in-a forever. i suspect this will be too...

Well, I had a conversation with my family, and they insisted I should go. Faith says the art show is no big deal, Nora says they'll play again in June, most of the same material, but they'll be better, and #1 son will be coming up from Portland to represent for the family anyway. VonBubbaSubsidy seals the deal, I'm shopping for tickets.
