In the South of France close to Mont Ventoux. This crag is called Rocher de Lioux. It's about 30 minutes drive north of Buoux and about an hour south of us. Apparently the land owner will chase you off with a shotgun.
The crag is about 50 - 60m high and about 1km long. Awesome looking grey walls and slabs and on the right as you can see, some overhanging orange and white rock reminiscent of St Leger du Ventoux.

Here's a couple more!

Local Alaskan cragging in typical weather:

Some extra-special weather at the base of a route, surrounded by solitude.

Frigid trees in an Alaskan sunset.

Prezwoodz bouldering sometime last summer.

Crevasse rescue training on Eklutna Glacier.

Glacier travel up in the clouds.

More training, this time passing a knot on a long lower of a stokes basket.

Anchorage's city lights over the Knik Arm.

North Howser Tower, Bugaboos

A patchwork of a dozen or more photos. Not accurate enough for scouting new routes.

360-degree Panorama of the Sierra Nevada from the Bighorn Plateau

Manual Photoshop, didn't turn out so well but still an informative panorama.

I am loving the built in pano app on my iPhone!!

Dee ee- the secret is to make them 1024 long. They will be short (vertically) if you take a really long pano...
