Matisse - My young lovely extracted herself about a month ago and took off to Ecuador. She'll meet me in La Paz shortly. Add me to the tally of roped-up mortals. I'm bringing a couple of Woodson ropes and a light rack as well.

Matisse,

I'm a big chicken so we'll have a rope and some gear too. And at least one fluffy bouldering pad!

***On another note - does anyone know where we can bivy for the night around there or around Nature's? Any ideas? No tent just the truck/camper. Sounds like there will be way too many libations consumed to drive home.

I regret to announce that Brunosafari has developed a severe case of the " itis ", a disease known to infect Poway climbers. Will he be quarantined? I'm glad you asked. Of course he will be quarantined. You can find him on the Hope Boat in Lake Billy Chinooks. Don't worry, he won't show up and contaminate us. On the plus side, Agent 13, the lovely bride of Phantom X will be in attendance. Will she be bringing her N.A. Wall rack or merely an extension ladder? I'm glad you asked, however I can't answer everything. Ask me something easy. Would she like to see her name on the list? Good question, the answer is "yes, thank you" that would make her quite happy!

hi crusher - there is a very nice campground just a few minutes east/north east of Woodson - camped there a few times when I used to drive down from Ventura - nice place, showers. Forget the name but it's easy to find.

hope this helps
