The New Years trip fizzled, but Spring is better, anyway.

Still, rain, and rain, so I employed the classic campsite-finding technique of driving out into the desert until getting stuck in the mud.

We did, however, arrive in Jtree, and met up with Dan. He did some extra steep rappelling...

And worked on his footwork.

In and around the fire

The finale was Figures on a Landscape. Between sore fingertips, hangovers, etc. etc. it was uncertain if this would get done, but it came together sweetly in the end. Lots of pics, so there may be a more complete spread later, but here's a few.
