Trip Report
A good summer in the Alps: high pressure all over and very stable conditions so far
this mean a lot of climbing possible... altough getting father does not boost the climbing activity too much, something was possible and very enjoyable ;-) on the easily approachable Sella Group on the Dolomites...not exactly the wild west but very good rock.... Icterus (6c) http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/07/italy-dolomites-sella-first-tower.html Ottovolante (6c+) http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/07/italy-dolomites-sella-ottovolante-6c.html the Bernards (7b/+) http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/08/italy-dolomites-sella-bernards-7b-6c.html on the West Dolomites (the Brenta Group)...less crowded and longer approaches The Stenico-Fox (VI/+) http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/08/italy-brenta-dolomites-cima-dambiez.html The Schusselkar on the Wetterstein range, rather long approcach for very good limestone on well protected routes http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/07/austria-tirol-wetterstein.html the Kaiser range, awesome gray limestone, full of cracks and with sketcy grading and placements...naturally cool with long approaches and descents. and old classical http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/08/austria-tirol-kaisergebirge-fleischbank.html sport multipitch on good granite in Zillertal.... nice to chillout of busy afternoons http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/08/austria-tirol-zillertal-rabennest-vii.html and some long alpine stuff with plenty of rock, ice, scrambles and beers ;-) the Aguilles Dorees on the vicinity of Mt. Blanc http://becauseflatsucks.blogspot.co.at/2015/08/switzerland-aguilles-doreestrient-orny.html
