Oh man I love the Henries. Without question the most fascinating rock I've ever climbed on. It climbs like the best granite you've ever touched, but it's so totally loaded with pockets you'd think you were in Verdon.
The big fire that blew out the spectacular Pondersa pine forest up there was 10 years ago next July. Feels like yesterday.
