The famous Gnomi bivouac parka!!
Well, I got my hands on a few of Farlands pictures from the Nov. Cochise expedition finally. I thought I'd make a part 2 since the other thread is getting a little unruly. Plus, these are her photos not mine.
Mother, Climber, Ski Guru, Artist, Camp Chef, yeah all this and more.

Farland likes to take ART photos, not just climbing....imagine that!!

Survival: Desert photos are most welcome tonight. After 10 days of thaw and a couple afternoons enjoying 50+ degree outside temps: the "cold front" blew in this afternoon.
Snow, cold, and wind for us.

Thanks everybody! And Farland!
Ezra, I found Endgame to be HARD for the 10a rating! There are many things there that really push you for the grade.
I said on the other thread if it says 8+ or 9+ there, you better be wide awake.
Peacemaker has a 10a rating for every pitch (7 total) but many of them are short crux's. Endgame is more continuously steep and sustained. I thought all pitches were under-rated except the fourth.
The pro was good but a little beyond "sport" range in places. Endgame is harder in 5 pitches, with only a couple rated 10a, than Peacemaker is in 7 pitches rated 10a. Does that answer your question???
But on the other hand we had been at it for days, and I'm old and a little "unthin"!!!

Ahhhh Hatch Chile, my mouth is watering. Ever since I moved to LA I've been Jonesin for some good Hatch pork green chile, it is impossible to find in Los Angleles. I ran into a New Mexican transplant the other day that said there was only one place he knew of in Fullerton, named Anita's. Can anybody else help a brother out, finding some good smothered burritos (not deep fried!) made with New Mexican style green pork Hatch chile (hot)?
This is what I'm talkin about...

Really nice, thanks!
Love the atmosphere shots, but Endgame takes the cake. Even with stout ratings -- makes it worth training for, to savor that position!
