Wes Goulding and I Furked up the Lear during an October scorch. We weren't fast but we enjoyed our perch. Here is link to the video documentary on You Tube. The original track featured the Black Bells but YouYube had a problem with them so had to find some other tunes.

Your video brought back memories from almost 45 years ago. My first El Cap experience was a little south of Lurking Fear on the West Buttress. Nicely done, and thank you for posting.

RAD too bad we couldnt hook up this summer. I had lurking fear on the radar for this fall too but my broken toe put a stop to that. Maybe I'll get a later fall ascent? Peace and thanks for posting.

Hope your toe finishes final stages of healing fast. Yes, look forward to getting on something with you.
BTW, I have two new lines on Box Canyon wall I am looking for someone to try with me. Give me a call if you would like to hop on them one afternoon.
