Joshua Tree April 1-6 (includes Flanders Fundraiser)

Here's my trip report from Joshua Tree, April 1-6, 2011.

Route wise, it includes pretty mellow stuff (though I had a more interesting time than I thought I would on one of the multi-pitch climbs). It was great meeting a bunch of legends (Climbing and SuperTopo kind).

My trip report also includes a video which features a slide show of photos and small bits of video.

Glad yall had a good time. Nice photos and vid and website. Thanks for sharing. I would have liked to have made it down there for the fest.

Cool...glad you had a blast out there and came by the party! It was a great showing for our buddy Doug and thanks for the contribution to the fundraiser. I bought the shirt of the boulderer with hands. I really think that is a cool shirt. Don't know if it's a guy or girl shirt, but it fits(a bit tight) but it's really cool all the same. Thanks again.

Hey Ron, that's awesome you bought the shirt! It's a Men's Fitted t-shirt so you're good.

The design has a story behind it. It's based on a photo I took of Luke (cultureshock) on "High Noon" at Gunsmoke while we were at a climb Tweetup. I took my photo and then did a vector illustration based on it for the shirt design.

I'm really glad it found a home even though I didn't get it out when the auction actually started. If you end up with any pics of you wearing it I'd love to see them! As a graphic designer/photographer I always get a kick out of seeing my stuff out there in the context of someone using it.
