Trip Report
Mt. Baker and Rebel Yell on Chianti Spire
Friday July 25, 2014 7:46am
I hadn't been back to Mt. Baker in over a decade. It's a place I love deeply having spent much time from 2000-2005 guiding on her slopes. I returned with new friends to find that the mountain I love so much....still has crappy Pacific NW weather....ahhh rain. So after a quick trip to a high camp on the Coleman Deming, it was off to Chianti Spire for some 5.10 wide fun and some massive Haze due to the huge forest fires on the east side of the Cascade Range.
