Photo Ski TR (warning - American doing Euro Pansy stuff)
Friday February 27, 2009 2:07pm
Hey
Since I had a light load today at work, I though I would head out after half a day and ski this circuit. Pretty fun stuff - even if I made use of a rifugio (I am weak). Ski in, Coulouir on Mont La Nuda (AD-) climb, Summit crest walk, drop into Vallone Dell'inferno (PD- If climbing). Rifugio for Pannino and out.

For the heels shot, I have a fairly wide angle lense (canon g10) and leaned way to right and held the camera at my left hip pointing down the route.

And.. as for vino, I am headed in that direction now but before a drive out, beer is better... BUT.. Italian beer SUCKS! and despite being in Itali, I still have the Cali end of day traditions close to the heart.

Coming back to Cali in October.. bummed and stoked at the same time

"Italian beer SUCKS!"

Yeah, that's true (cf French beer), and since all the amazing food is cooked in wine, it makes the beer taste even worse. That's how I got forced into becoming a wine drinker. That and the free vino, and the Celebrex addiction.

October, eh? That still means summer in the Dolomites . . . .

Pretty cool!

I used to live in Milan and we had a vacation cabin in Valtounache. Man, those were good times...
