It had been 18 years since our initial attempt on the West Ridge of Conness with a party of six (yup you read that correctly). This time things worked out better:

Somehow we forgot that in the Sierras you often encounter snow. Frank showing off proper footwear (duct tape does a mediocre job keeping tennis shoes dry):
