That's an interesting traverse to Matterhorn. From where Double Dihedral tops out there is a wall with a choice to rap from sh#t-looking webbing to the right or go straight up a wall with first real pro kind of high up there. I remember that wall really well. : ) After we got to matterhorn we went over to Dragtooth and to Doodad though. Cool ridge, need to come back for the other part.

So beautiful!
Snowhazed, more pix?
How many days?
How many pitches?
Yikes, I've always hated dancing around blocks like that, and we just have to do too much of it eh?

Car to Car endeavor (actually t meadows to t meadows), 14 hours round trip. Coming from sea level probably accounted for a few hours :)
Pitches? Simuled a few, roped 3-4, soloed many many many
Yeah Vitaliy- that sh#t webbing on DD is now a crusty bleached fragment- the beautiful wall above was quite nice in the late day glow.
With the heavy melt, that range is the most active I have ever encountered. We witnessed and heard huge amounts of natural rockfall. On the dragway we heard a REAL loud one. I was belaying and my bud and on lead he asked down- "Can you see it?" and I responded "You'll see it in just a second!" A fridge was cartwheeling down the snow- hit a rut- caught at least 150 feet of air and then smashed into another boulder pile- obliterating everything. Pretty exciting.
Here's a few more pics
