Got to go up to Shuteye Ridge this past weekend and climbed on the finest stone I've ever climbed. Big thanks to all who have developed this amazing place.

You mean a big thanks to the people who grid bolted some crags(Shangri-La, High Eagle to name a few), chipped holds on some routes( High Eagle, Dreamscape to name a few more) and treated the place like it was their own private gymnasium?

There have been a bunch of routes developed there that are great, natural lines. There have been a bunch of newer developed lines that are atrocities. Too bad some developers are so short sighted that then need to force lines that are above their pay grade.

End of rant for now!

Haters gonna hate. Its an amazing place full of clean rock, blue skies and high adventure away from the crowds. Glad you had a blast man. Its right in my back yard and I still don't get up there enough. Thanks for the report.

mctwisted's pic is unreal...might have had a little "accident" when I saw it.

Chipping and gridbolting is LAME-O, but that place is most definitely KNOTT!

Awesome

One of my favorite routes I've done at shuteye was mctwisted's Elixir at High Eagle. 50 meters of cryptic techy climbing. So so good! Thanks Dan!!

I'll be going back.

Electric eagle is out of this world. Such beautiful granite!

Does anyone know the conditions of the approach road? Beta on MP says that even the 2wd roads to the campgrounds require high clearance and 4wd right now.
