-People usually think you have no friends if you solo aid – or for someone reason nobody wants to climb with you.
I readily admit to having no friends and know that no one wants to climb with me.

Nice work. I've thought about soloing the South Face, but the thought of some of those reaches deters me. The last time I climbed it (in the 1970's), there was so much tat hanging from the top of the Kor Roof and from the bolt above the small roof above it that even at 5' 5", I had no trouble making the moves. Not sure what it would be like now. You're motivating me to reconsider.
Thanks for that excellent TR.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I will check the links later this week for the videos. I just realized there were a lot of typos - I must not have spell checked - by bad. It was such a good time (in retrospect). I am glad you people are getting a little bit out of reading it! As the rope bag goes - I used a Bed Bath and Beyond bag, doubled it up and ran a coat wire through the rim and taped it down. Total cost was $5. It worked really well. JEleazarian - you should go for it - the really reachy move on the Kor roof is slung with a long piece of tat so not too hard to grab.

Yes Jared! Way to suffer through it, I'm enjoying watching you progress your way through each new climb.
I have to admit that I felt a lot more weak and tired after watching that.........:-)

That's awesome. Nice report. Stressful to do it all on your own without moral support from a partner...
