I also got shut down before at the move past the last bolt on the first real pitch, had to come back with tricams and ballnuts to get something to sink in. Poor route has been beat to hell haha. I'd really ought to post up the R/T misadventure. When I retrieved my Jeep from the impound, Tow Truck Driver assured me that all of the car's contents had been inventoried, and were intact. And, by gosh and by God, they were...including my unopened bottle of Orleans "Jade" absinthe we were to entertain ourselves at the bivi + some other contraband. Of course, the rig was packed full to the rafters with gear - clearly, there was no way for anyone to sort things out. Fortunately.
