All killer no filler - thank you so much for sharing these amazing pics.

Vitaliy, at first glance I was disappointed your beautiful photos lacked descriptions of where, what and when. I suppose just because we've become so accustom to an overload of information. I must say by not having information it added for me a sense of mystery and adventure, reminiscent of those carefree days of my youth exploring our home range with no more information than Starr's & Voge's guides. Thanks for taking the time to share.

In a perfect Universe, you would include some descriptions, but then I'm from the old writing-too school.
In perfect world I would have a lot more time. If you click on my blog or ST profile, you will see how little posting I had time for in the last year or so. My last blog post was photos sometime in early Spring I believe.
There will be dry info submissions in the next AAJ. As there are plenty in the last several. I feel like pure photos without an order, descriptions, ratings and so on are nicer because we (the audience) can look at attractive landscapes without thinking about all the technicalities.
I must say by not having information it added for me a sense of mystery and adventure, reminiscent of those carefree days of my youth exploring our home range with no more information than Starr's & Voge's guides. THAT! In the Sierra, pretty much anywhere you go, you will see beautiful lakes, peaks etc.
Yes PhilG, mainly no time because I do work full time as a nurse, trying to take some classes on the side to get more qualifications (working in the VERY BUSY ER most want more skills so you could do more/notice subtle changes in patient's condition to promote a better outcome), need family/girlfriend time and I been working on a guide to technical climbing in the High Sierra, had to do a lot of hiking/exploratory climbing and put a lot more time into topo drawing for the book. Time, energy and health, few things most of us could use more of.

Nice work out there this summer. Thanks for sharing your vision and your adventure!
If you need a few shots of me from the gym, bring your camera next week. There's a sick route over on the blue tower I am seshing these days.

Your summer was way better than mine, and I went to Italy. Maybe it was because the kids complained about having to see cathedrals or Titians. Or maybe it was because I didn't to spend a single night in the Sierra. :(

I work full time, so an out of state trip is not something easy to pull off for me. A trip to Colorado for a 3 pitch ice/moderate mixed route...doesn't really get me as psyched as some of the mixed lines in Canada. Hoping to go to Canada a few times this winter after stacking enough shifts to have 6-7 days off. That place...

Wonderful photos! A couple look like they were taken on the east face of Mt. Watkins. Were you back in Tenaya canyon this summer?
What a life! I don't see how you get it all done...

Thank you! No Watkins this year :/ probably something in Shuteye that looked like it.
Very passionate about getting out there, I am sure you can relate ;) it is a bit hard at times to get off after a week of 12 hour shifts, sleep a couple of hours and go in for a 6 day trip in the mountains. But hey, no one is making me do that!
