Tetons: Full Exum and Direct Petzoldt Ridge

it's great seeing all these recent trip reports from the Teton, inspires me to post one of my own. We did the full Exum ridge and the Petzoldt ridge over the 4th'o July in awesome conditions. Not a cloud to be see for days.

Splendid trip report. The Petzoldt is often eclipsed in popularity by its proximity to the Exum...a very enjoyable climb.

Ahhh the sight which stirs the passions of lonely Frenchmen lost in the wilderness….
Ay the popular legend...ha-ha!
The designation "Les Trois Teton" seems to have been given, originally, to the three volcanic buttes a hundred miles to the west on Arco desert of Idaho. Later the name was transposed to the rocky peaks above Jackson Hole.
The inmost nature of Frenchmen nonwithstanding...it's difficult comprehending anyone lonely enough to perceive the multitude of jagged peaks above the headwaters of the Snake River as human breasts. The buttes on the Arco have more analogous shape, symmetry ...and they number three
