The ditch is cold, the ditch is warm

I guess Monday it had snowed, because Tuesday, it seemed pretty snowy.

But on the crags, it was sunny and warm.

Until it got dark, when beasts haunted the descent.

But some rocks were not paying attention to that.

Fighting the flu, the indomitable Master insisted on the Climb, and we found ourselves just about completely on our own on gorgeous, sunny, still, and warm days on Valley classics: Reed's Regular, Reed's Direct, Outer Limits, La Cosita Left, La Cosita Right, Sacherer's Cracker, Five and Dime.

*WARNING*

The photo report in this post is terribly inaccurate. You cannot climb in Yosemite in the winter. If it has been snowing, you have to go to J-Tree. Yosemite in the winter is just plain out of the question. Don't do it!

Hey Sullly, where did I say I got UP these routes? :) And there can't be any better schooling than climbing with Jim. Oh, and right now I am grading. As soon as I log off ST. And maybe clean the kitchen. And read a seed catalog. And ... then I'll think of something else.

SeanC, that's La Cosita Right, at the base of El Capitan. Beta that Karl Baba posted in the routes section is pure wisdom.
