Tuolumne Meadows....Alpine Days and Mobile nights.....A Vimeo TR

Hey Taco. Just got back from a couple days in Tuolumne. Adam and I don't get out as much as we'd like, so a two full days in the Meadows at the end of each climbing season is our "Big Trip" of the year. For a couple guys who only get out to climb every couple months or so, these trips are still magical. It never gets old. We plan to be doing this into our eighties. Nothing impressive from a climbing standpoint, but I hope this little video shows the magic of the place and why it is so special to so many of us.
Enjoy.

That may have been one of the coolest things I have ever seen on ST! Makes me wish the season wasn't over and I'll have to wait till next year to see TM for the first time! Great vid and song choice! The time lapse clouds rolling by was my favorite!

Wow Scott, that was awesome. You really captured the essence of a perfect Tuolumne climbing day (including the fish taco ending). I just returned from Yosemite a few weeks ago and I'm now longing to get back there! Thanks for sharing.

Aw shucks, glad yall like it. We were stoked that the Telluride Film Festival was happening down at The Whoa Nellie those two nights. We went each night. I'm a wannabe Renan Ozturk/Cedar Wright punter when it comes to film skillz, we watched the whole Dispatch of the Tawoche Trip from Renan off Vertical Carnival. Soooo cool. The vibe was great at the film fest, everybody chillin on the grass, total collective spirit of the alpine community. Were any of yall down there?

Ezra,
I shoot from a little Cannon Vixia HF11. It does a nice job for not being a pro camera. It is true HD though. Cost just over a grand but is a step up from most tourist cameras. The grainy stuff is from my i-phone. It does kinda nice though when I don't want to lug a camcorder up a route.

Micronut - I have no idea how I missed this the first time 'round, but thank you. I love that place so much, it almost hurts. Seattle is an awesome place, but there is nothing like TM, and the east side. Really great video!
