Alix Morris and I went up and sent the Westie Face. This video shows a bit of an amalgamation of trips up working and sending the route.

Did the aid route twice in '81. Second time, at the top of the 1st pitch, an old nail drive (original Harding bolt) blew just on body weight at the hanging belay as I waited for the jug. I backed up the anchor after my heart restarted.
Watching these folks do the route free on the video is stoke, it's so steep. Couldn't have imagined it back when we were there.

I can't know how much work Alix put into this one but by time, I know she WORKS SUPER HARD for her climbing and sending. This is after sending the Freerider on El Cap and starting to climb sometime after 2010. F*#king psyched for Alix, one of the nicest and strongest climbers out there. Not many would make you a cup of hot tea in freezing temps and bring you one at 7 AM and then go work on some HARD gnar pitch in a few hours. Love you Alix and a great video brozef!!!
