I am now 70 years (1945) of age and retrospecting 40 years of climbing, mostly in the alps, spain, africa, south america and yosemite of course too, I have a lot of climbing meters in my bag ...
after making stills I changed to videos since movies give a much better impression of the climb and the environment, unfortunately all my old deeds are not recorded, but that does not matter: what counts is the contemporary moment and your own gained personal experience on a rock trip - what others experience is their asset and shapes their own personality, not mine.
all what I can say now is WOW to the many physical efforts of others and thanks god I am not driven anymore by success and not depending on acknowledgments of others and can enjoy climbing in a relaxed mood ...
here some links to enjoy for climbers mainly focused on north america rocks:

I like your vision....what only counts is the contemporary moment and the personal experience.
Too many climbers compare themselves to others, or worse, to their own achievements from earlier days.
Keep on showing the way!

Thanks! I see you've climbed at a few places in Spain. I can highly recommend Catalunya for just about any type of climbing, if it happens to be a convenient destination sometime.
