Overview
Horndogger Select and the Sundog variation to the top of Horndogger Select offer excellent climbing on somewhat delicate and less traveled rock. The first three pitches can be used to access the huge ledge at the base of Solar Slab, and likewise, Solar Slab Gully, Johnny Vegas, or Beulah’s Book can be used to access the upper part of Horndogger Select and Sundog. Long and varied, with everything from steep face and crack to slab and thin edging, Horndogger Select to Sundog is a fun outing for climbers experienced at the grade, and a great choice for a longer mid-winter route on fully south-facing rock.
