Overview
FA: Dick Dorworth, Chris Vandiver August 1971.
A beautiful route up a crack to golden face, Truck’n Drive is the most varied and perhaps the best route on the front side of Lembert Dome. Slab and flakes lead to a neat step-over into a leaning hand crack which narrows and leads to a bolted belay on the slab above the arch. The second pitch is not that runout, but every hard move comes a ways out from the last bolt, and thus it’s definitely good to be solid on friction climbing.
