Overview
This route is a less crowded, slightly harder but less classic alternative to the Shield. The line ascends moderately sized features linked by a couple of bolt ladders on one of the most spectacularly clean and steep sections of El Cap. The route is mostly A1 and A2 with only two pitches of A3+, making it a good introduction to moderate/hard aid.
