Overview
The Direct Northwest Face follows an impressive, splitter crack system which heads up the middle of the generally crackless and steep northwest face of Lembert Dome. Combined with sustained 5.9 climbing and short, well-protected cruxes, it is an excellent climb for those breaking into the grade.
