The Saddle boulders have the highest concentration of hard problems in the Tahoe basin, as well as great rock and problems at intermediate grades. While the views aren’t as spectacular as the Top of Snowshed boulders, the problems are bigger, harder and better. Come here if you’re hard core – you won’t regret it. The season here is a little shorter than some of the South Lake areas due to the altitude. Notable Bouldering Problems
