Sweet granite bouldering in a great setting with a tiny approach—does it get any better? You’ll love this stuff. When it’s a zillion degrees down lower, it will still be nice up here, with the wind and thermals keeping things cool. The only downside is weekends, when the entire pass looks like an anthill that just got poked with a stick. If you’re bouldering here, don’t forget to tell everybody that there’s a lot more to be had in the Tahoe basin besides just Donner. Notable Bouldering Problems
